Review of Literature on Political Risks to the Operations of Large Oil & Gas Companies and Their Mitigation in Yemen

The intention behind this study is to select the most prominent from political risks for industry in Yemen and describe best practices mitigate them, identify strategic risk management strategies involved oil gas operations & analyse effectiveness of company's response promoting stability its areas business. methodology identifying assessing them following Risk according probability impact matrix analyzing factors. A total 61 factors that might cause construction projects were defined through a detailed literature review. identified bureaucratic government system lengthy project approval procedure; poor design; incompetence team; inadequate tendering; late internal process owner; organization structure; improper feasibility study; inefficient performance constructors; planning budgeting; design changes among others.
